Oregon Pain Medicine is looking for well-trained exceptional CRNAs to join our growing anesthesiology practice as independent contractors. We are looking for CRNAs to work in the operating room and procedure room in apart-time, or per diem capacity. We are seeking candidates for Oregon Specialists Surgery Center in Salem, OR. Our center is focused on pain management injections and procedures as well as minor ophthalmology surgeries. There is no call.
We are looking for someone with strong exceptional clinical knowledge and skills, interpersonal and communications skills, and professionalism. It requires that you work well within a small team environment.

Education
Required – Master’s degree from a school of nurse anesthesia accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
Work Experience
Required - None.
Certifications
Required – License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.
Certification through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Job Duties
- Documents patient procedures and incidents.
- Assesses patient before, during, and after administering anesthesia.
- Ensures patient safety and administers anesthesia following accepted practice techniques.
- Acts as a liaison to surgeons, anesthesiologists, co-workers, patients, and families.
- Participates in department quality assurance initiatives and activities of professional development.
- Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
- Performs other related duties as required.
