As a business colleague, you can help our clinical teams make a significant difference the acute episode of care, which is managed by our emergency, hospitalist, intensivist, and post-acute provider teams. Internships
Did you know that Healthcare is the fastest growing job sector in the workforce? Employment opportunities extend far beyond doctors and nurses, and include positions in information technology, accounting/finance, learning and development and more.
As a Sound Physicians intern, you will have the opportunity to further develop your professional and technical skills while working with teams in various functional areas across the organization. This opportunity will allow you to learn about Sound Physicians while preparing you to succeed in a professional environment.
Types of Internships
The number, level and type of internships vary year to year. Most internships take place during the academic year on a part-time basis; however, we also offer full-time summer internships. The internships are paid, and students will also be eligible for academic credit. Deadlines for applications are indicated in each posting.
Eligibility
Students will be considered for internships that meet specific qualifications described in the internship job description. Qualifications include:
Currently enrolled in an educational program leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree and in good standing at their college or university
Juniors, seniors or graduate students who are currently pursuing a degree in a related field
In some cases, students may be enrolled in technical or other certificate programs in particular fields related to Sound Physicians’ business objectives
Timeline
The majority of Sound Physicians internships are posted quarterly and are open for approximately two weeks before the interview stage. Some internship positions may be open longer or posted off-quarter.
Start dates vary by the internship and will need to be discussed during the interview process.
