Our Practice

Dr. Jack Welch, MD, joined Pitt County Memorial Hospital in 1971 and became one of the first anesthesiologists in eastern North Carolina. In 1978, Dr. Welch, Dr. Juliet Song, and Dr. D. Clark Bright founded Pitt County Anesthesia Associates which became East Carolina Anesthesia Associates in 2006. Since its inception the practice has continually grown and today provides anesthesia services to hospitals, surgery centers, doctor’s offices and pain clinics throughout North Carolina and southeast Virginia. For more than 50 years the practice has been providing quality medical care and services. We are a proactive organization that empowers our team members, through innovation and collaboration, to advance their skills and growth opportunities.
